When envisioning a New York loft what elements come to mind?
We think of polished concrete floors, crisp white walls, large windows & subway tiles. You can emulate the industrial look in your space by selecting finishes that mimic a loft’s urban roots.

Exposed & Unfinished
For that untouched & industrial feel, leaving materials exposed gives a rustic impact. This mean leaving pipelines, heating, ductwork or flooring in its raw state.

Vintage accents
Replace cabinets, coffee tables, plumbing fixtures or doorknobs/handles- to a more weathered and aged finishes to pull the theme together. Chrome, rubbed bronze or stainless steel would be perfect for that vintage feel.

Paint & Lighting
The colours you use in your home will affect light levels. Darker colours will give the loft a moody and characteristic feel, especially when styled with exposed bricks. Whites and neutrals give a more airy & fresh look by bringing in the natural light from outside. Add a statement to the living room with an industrial style pendant light, floor or hanging table lamp.
